Perfect for family fun!
The place is super clean and beautiful, surrounded by flowers. The staff were so friendly, even nicer. There's a fun play area for the kids and a shop for snacks. One thing, the shower block could use a bit of an update.

The toilets were immaculate, and the grounds were beautifully maintained, making it easy for everyone, including seniors, to navigate and enjoy the fine views of the nearby viaduct as we strolled around.
More seating areas for relaxation would be ideal.

easy walks to buxton's beautiful parks and landmarks
The staff were super friendly, and being just under a kilometer from both Ashwood Park and The Donkey Sanctuary meant we could easily enjoy scenic strolls and lovely park views throughout our stay. For families like ours, it's great to have a cute atmosphere after long days of exploring the area's fascinating spots, like Poole's Cavern just a short distance away, but a mirror in the main bedroom would have been a thoughtful addition for getting ready in the mornings.

The campsite offers a peaceful stay with clean facilities and friendly staff, although the walk to Buxton can be a bit longer than expected. The well-maintained pitches provide a lovely atmosphere for families, but the lack of an electric point in the toilets could be improved.

We had a fantastic one-night stay at this lovely site surrounded by fields of sheep and cows. The lady at reception was friendly and funny. The pitch we were given was perfect, with the morning sun bathing our spot. The toilets were immaculate and even had the local radio station playing. The location was ideal for walking into Buxton. We would definitely stay here again, it was just perfect.

I arrived at Lime Tree Park on a warm Friday afternoon and was actually surprised by the warm welcome and efficient check-in process. The showers and toilets were clean and spacious, and the pot washing facilities were convenient. Even though there were only two sinks, they were always available since our pitch was so close. The pitch itself was slightly slanted, but it didn't bother us as it was spacious enough for our large tent. We could have even fit a gazebo if we wanted to. The 10pm noise curfew wasn't a problem because we were outside all day and exhausted by bedtime. We had a delicious spatchcocked chicken from the farm shop and enjoyed a mouthwatering BBQ with burgers, sausages, and ribs. The proximity of Morrison's supermarket at the end of the drive was a bonus. We explored Buxton and Bakewell, both of which were lovely. The highlight of our stay was the fish and chip van that visited the site on Sunday. it was a good weekend, and I'm already considering coming back to Lime Tree Park in the future.
